Halloween Lighting Checklist

Getting ready for a fun and spooky night of trick or treating? Light up your nights for Halloween with lighting solutions from 1000Bulbs! We carry many different options for lighting that would make your house the talk of the neighborhood.

String Lights

String lights provide an easy, cost-effective option to light your yard for Halloween. These are often called Christmas lights, but stringers with orange, purple, and green lights can be even more appropriate for Halloween. On the rare occasion a bulb goes out on our LED stringers, the rest stay lit, limiting the amount of maintenance you'll have to do after you set these up. Safely connect strings together for longer runs and wrap them around trees, fences, or posts.

Battery Operated Stringers

If you don't want your string lights to be limited by the location of a power outlet or the reach of your extension cord, battery operated stringers will give you the power you need. Battery power stringers typically run on a timer to help your batteries last longer. If you're in need of batteries for your string lights, we carry those as well.

Rope Lights

Rope lights and light bulbs of various colors are another common lighting solution for Halloween. Uncut spools of rope light are UL listed for wet locations, making them great for use outdoors. You can leave uncut rope light outside without worrying about sprinklers, rain, or even snow. If you decide to cut your spools, be sure to use waterproof connectors to protect your power source from contact with moisture. If you need more accessories for your rope lights, we carry additional end caps, mounting clips, shrink tubes, suction cups, connectors, channels, and adhesives that can be purchased separately from the spools.

LED Starlight Spheres

Looking for a unique and eye-catching way to light your yard or house for Halloween? Consider hanging LED starlight spears from ceilings, trees, or porches. LED spheres work great both indoors and outdoors. These spheres are constructed as one solid plastic piece with multiple mini bulbs that shine brightly from any angle.

Blacklight Tubes

Blacklight tubes are essential for creating a spooky environment if you're throwing a Halloween party or setting up a house. These fluorescent or LED tubes emit ultra-violet light while blocking most of the light in the visible spectrum, causing white and neon colors to glow.
